I am a pediatric physiotherapist and mother of 3 children, and it is close to my heart to help parents better understand the physiological needs of the baby to better support them.

Baby doesn't want to be put down and prefers being in your arms?

This is quite understandable!

 Baby loves to be held

And when you put baby to bed:

Baby doesn't like being put in his bed

Baby finds himself without the reassuring protection of one's arms, he then jumps in his sleep (uncontrollable Moro reflex, often just because of gas).

He finds himself in a less comfortable position, and often, the bed is a little cold, and so big!

It is with this in mind that, as a mother and pediatric physiotherapist, I created the birth cocoon, which offers a gentle transition after childbirth:

Easier sleep in the birth cocoon

Baby is in flexion/fetal position, the wool keeps him at a comfortable temperature in summer and winter, because 100% merino wool thermoregulates.

Place baby in his cocoon before his last bottle/feeding, and simply put him to bed after falling asleep. There will then no longer be this startled awakening as soon as we put baby to bed.
